Meet Natasha:
The Woman Behind Sage Society
My journey to founding Sage Society wasn't a straight path—it was shaped by both professional expertise and deeply personal experiences.

My journey to founding Sage Society wasn't a straight path—it was shaped by both professional expertise and deeply personal experiences.
But it was my own experience as a woman navigating fitness in a world that wasn't designed for us that sparked the vision for what Sage Society would become.
A Space Born From Necessity
For years, I watched women—especially mothers—struggle to find their place in traditional gyms. I saw them modify exercises without guidance, hide women-specific concerns out of embarrassment, and eventually give up on their fitness journeys altogether.

That's when the idea for Sage Society took root. What if we created a studio specifically designed for women, especially moms?
A place where:
- You never have to choose between family responsibilities and self-care
- Trainers understand the unique needs of women's bodies
- Workouts are tailored to accommodate everything from diastasis recti to pelvic floor concerns to perimenopause symptoms.
- Community and connection are just as important as the exercises
From Fit Mama to Sage Society
In 2013, I took the leap and founded Fit Mama Santa Barbara, creating the women-focused fitness environment I had always wanted but couldn't find. As our community grew, so did our vision. We evolved into Sage Society—a name that reflects our commitment to wisdom, empowerment, and the sacred journey of women supporting women.
The Heart of Our Mission

The Heart of Our Mission
It's about women who:
- Train to keep up with their kids, not just to fit into their jeans
- Want to prioritize long term health goals and learn how to lift weights properly
- Need an hour away from constant demands to reconnect with themselves
- Seek connection with other women who understand their journey
Our mission goes beyond fitness. When women enter our studio, they find a place where their unique needs aren’t just accommodated—they’re centered. Where modifications aren’t whispered apologies but proud adaptations. Where community isn’t an afterthought but the foundation.

Looking Forward... Today, with our thriving Santa Barbara studio and expansion in Ventura, I'm more passionate than ever about creating spaces where women can prioritize their health without sacrifice.

Sage Society isn’t just my business—it’s my purpose. And I’m honored to welcome you into this community we’ve built together.
